UFC 111 is due to hit screen on the 27th of March 2010 and features the return of highly dominant Welterweight champ George 'Rush' St-Pierre taking on Dan 'The Outlaw Hardy' in the main event. Also backing up the solid main event is an interim Heavyweight title battle with Heavyweight contenders Frank Mir taking on first round knock out artist Shane Carwin in what is sure to be an explosive and heavy handed battle
UFC 110 saw the old guard Vs the new and it gave us some really exciting main card fights that went down a storm in Sydney Australia. Headlining the event was Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Vs Cain Velasquez in a fight that would give us another potential contender for the belt. And that contender will be Cain Velasquez who looked very strong with his standup landing powerful leg kicks and finishing Nog early in round one with a tight right hand that dropped nog allowing Cain to step over and land four or five shots before the ref stepped in. A great win for Cain who has got to be the most legitimate test now for Lesnar's title

The UFC is coming to Australia with UFC 110 - Nogueira Vs. Velasquez which will see the former UFC heavyweight and pride champ taking on the up and coming Cain Velasquez. Also on the main card for UFC 110 we have Wanderlie Silva taking on Micheal Bisping, Ryan Bader fighting Keith Jardine, Joe Stevenson Vs George Sotiropoulos and Mirko 'Cro Cop' fighting Ben Rothwell.
So overall the UFC have brought out some big guns for their first trip to Australia, a mix of old and new fighters but all guys who usually put on good fights. With the time difference in Australia the event will actually be live there at 2:00 on Sunday meaning the usual airing time will be in the evening on Saturday for the American fans

With a small break now before we hit our next UFC at UFC 110, it's time to take a quick look at the promotional posters for the next few upcoming events. Today we have for you the posters for UFC 110, UFC 111 and UFC - Vera Vs. Jones on Versus.
First up is of course UFC 110 which is set to go down in Australia on the 20th February, and features a pretty stacked card with Nogueira Vs Velasquez as the main event. Also bringing the action on the card is the return of Mirko 'Cro Cop' facing off against Ben Rothwell, and Wanderlei Silva taking on Michael Bisping.
UFC 109 Relentless went down with a bang tonight at the Mandaley Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and with a nice mix of old and new stars it had something for new and old MMA fans alike. With a headliner featuring two hall of famers, both serious competitors but only one able to walk away victorious and you knew it was going to be an interesting main card.
Randy Couture and Mark Coleman faced off, with Randy taking control early and dominating in typical Couture fashion. Round two saw more of the same with clinch and then a takedown setting up a nice rear naked choke that saw Randy getting another win int he octagon
UFC 109 hits our TV's this weekend on February the 6th promising a trio of exciting fights and some nice undercard fights too. Heading up the main card is two MMA legends with former heavyweight champs Randy Couture and Mark Coleman finally stepping into the cage injury free. We also have middleweight contender Nate Marquart taking on tough grinder Chael Sonnen presumably to decide the next fighter for Anderson Silva, or for Vitor Belfort depending on who wins that fight.
Mike Swick takes on Paulo Thiago, Demian Maia returns to the Octagon to take on Dan Miller on his road back and Frank Trigg and Matt Serra square up and have already started the trash talking so that should be an exciting fight to watch.
For the main event we saw Nick Diaz and Marius Zaromskis go toe to toe for the vacant Welterweight title, which Nick Diaz easily won with his boxing and reach bringing him the victory, with Zaromskis getting roughed up and TKO'd from the always game Nick Diaz.
