Brock Lesnar to speak on ESPN later today about the future

Brock Lesnar today is going to speak live on ESPN regarding his future in the MMA world, the current UFC Heavyweight champ has gone through a major illness which has forced the UFC to pitch number one contender Shane Carwin up against Frank Mir instead of the champ.

From all the talk so far it seems as though Brock is going to return to the Octagon sometime later this year but it should be confirmed later during the show on ESPN. With his return highly likely it still remains to be seen how the UFC are going to handle his return, personally i would like Mir and Carwin to fight for the Interim title if Brock is only going to return later in the year, especially with the way the heavyweight division has been of late. We have potential contenders popping up all over the place, Junior Dos Santos, Cain Velasquez and the possible return of Big Nog too if he wins his upcoming bout with Velasquez.

Either way it will still be good to see Brock back in the Octagon, he was really the catalyst for the whole heavyweight division surge, i just hope he doesn’t rush back at anything less than 100%.

Update – Brock Lesnar and Dana White both spoke to ESPN today and gave the news that he will return you can check out the video on ESPN here or below
