MMA Live returns with it’s weekly fix of MMA news from around the globe, this week host Jon Anik is joined by WEC’s Miguel Torres and Rashad Evans who break down all the latest MMA News. The focus this week is on the upcoming UFC on Versus card which will see up and coming light heavyweight Jon ‘Bones’ Jones taking on Vladimir Matyashenko and all the panel get to chime in with the verdict that this fight should definitely go in the favour of Jones.

Also popping into the studio this week is Ross Pearson who talks his upcoming fight against Cole Miller and UFC President Dana White also chats via satellite about all the latest goings on in the UFC world.

MMA Live returns with all the latest MMA coverage, with news from the UFC and Strikeforce this week. On the panel this week for MMA Live is Franklin McNeal and Migeul Torres, also joined on video link by Dan Henderson whose recently signed the deal with Strikeforce and Jon Anik gets a chance to discuss this with Hendo.

Also covered this week are the latest happenings in the UFC world, with a look forward to UFC 107, breaking down the title fight between B J Penn and Diego Sanchez which should be a great fight especially in the first few rounds.

MMA Live returns with a whole load of Mixed Martial Arts, UFC, Strikeforce and K1 news with the panel this week consisting off Miguel Torres and UFC catchweight king Rich Franklin. The news this week is all over the place with coverage of the TUF 10 final two episodes which leads nicely into the TUF 10 finale show preview which is of course airing on Saturday night.

TUF contestant Marcus Jones also gets on the phone to discuss the end of the season, and the panel go into depth about the upcoming Jon Jones and Matt Hamill fight which should be a great fight and another legitimate test for Jones.

Miguel Torres Loses, Brian Bowles Wins at WEC 42

Miguel Torres and Brian Bowles went head to head in the WEC for the bantomweight belt and Bowles provided the upset via technical knockout at the end of round one, and put Torres’s record down to 36-2. Bowles caught Torres a few times in the first round and had him rocked, a little later and Bowles took Torres down landing a few glancing elbows before Torres made it back to his feet. After a flurry of comeback punches from Torres which saw him chasing back the retreating Bowles, he got caught and Bowles made no hesitation in making sure Torres wouldn’t get back up.

So Bowles is now the WEC bantomweight champion and no doubt we will see Torres fighting for a rematch very soon. Is this a changing of the guard for the WEC now? First Faber loses the belt now Torres, but this is the sport of MMA and champions come and go pretty fast, just that wasn’t the case with these two until now.

MMA Live is back with more MMA News and features in video form. This week the MMA Live crew fronted by Jon Anik, with Stephan Bonnar and Franklin McNeil on the panel discuss the latest news regarding Strikeforce’s signing off Fedor and how that affects the MMA landscape and more importantly who Fedor can actually fight.

WEC 42 is also covered with the guys talking about Miguel Torres’s upcoming fight with Brian Bowles, and both Bonnar and McNeil have their own views on how this fight goes down. The pretty Molly Qerim is back again this week with the pulse.

MMA Live is back on ESPN with all the latest MMA news. This week Jon Anik is away and covering for him is Jonathan Coachman filling in, on the panel are Pat Miletich and regular Franklin McNeil. This week their covering Josh Barnett and the drama over the Suspension and how Affliction are going to patch it up. They also cover Rich Franklin’s and Dan Henderson’s rematch, Tito Ortiz is talked about and whether he’s going to come back to the UFC.

MMA Live is back after the spectacle that was UFC 100. Back in the MMA Live studio Jon Anik is joined again by Franklin McNeil where they cover Brock Lesnar’s antics in the cage at UFC 100. Shane Carwin also joins the MMA Live crew, and they have a chat about his upcoming bout with Cain Velasquez, and Carwin’s recently posted comments on Brock’s antics, and if anyone is big enough to call Brock out on his action, then Shane Carwin is definitely one of the guys to do it.

MMA Live 100 Post Fight Show is up – 11th July 09

MMA Live is continuing its live coverage of UFC 100 in Las Vegas. Jon Anik, Kenny Florian and Miguel Torres talk about all the fights from this impressive card. The talk starts with coverage of the Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir fight, including how it all went wrong for Mir and Lesnar’s improvement and control and his post fight antics harking back to his WWE days. More importantly they cover the next potential opponents for Brock Lesnar, with Shane Carwin getting the nod from Florian and Torres.

All the other fights get covered too, along with some intersting breakdowns on GSP being the potential pound for pound king, and the possibility of the much discussed, Anderson Silva Vs George St Pierre superfight. Just to top it off Dan Henderson and Jon Fitch make appearences and discuss their fights at UFC 100.

MMA Live is up – 09th July 2009 MMA Video

MMA Live is back with its final show before UFC 100, and the MMA Live crew are making it a special show. MMA Live are all set up in the Mandaley Bay Events Center bringing the news on the upcoming UFC 100 bout, this week they have a star cast panel, with Kenny Florian back, Randy Couture on board, and Rashad Evans giving up some insight on the Ultimate Figher show and his bout with Lyoto Machida. One point to note is that Rashad seems to have a lot of love for Kimbo Slice which just makes me think that he might have ended up on Rashads team for the upcoming season ten show, but that is something we will only find out when the show airs later this year. Zoolander Face!

ESPN’s online MMA Show, MMA Live is back this week with more mixed martial arts news and previews. This week MMA Live has Rich Franklin on its panel standing in for Kenny Florian who is still training for his upcoming bout with B J Penn. Hosting MMA Live as usual is Jon Anik with Franklin McNeil and of course the lovely Molly Qerim. This week they dissectttt the Bellator fighting championships and have a pretty interesting conversation with the VP of Bellator Bjorn Rebney who talk about how they structured the championships to appeal to the widest range of fighters, from newcomers to more seasoned fighters. ESPN has a vested interested in Bellator with them showing it on their network and even Jon Anik commentates on the fight so its no surprise to see them giving it a lot of coverage, and Bellator has undoubtedly has some of the best highlight reels from its fights this year.

Also covered this week on MMA Live is the breakdown of the Ultimate Fighter Finale which has the crazy fight between Sanchez and Guida, and Jon Anik also talks to Bobby Lashley about his upcoming fight against Japan legend Bob ‘The Beast’ Sapp. You can check out the video below.
